Details of Hyderabad to Medaram Bus timings & Fare Charges 2018. With a view to providing hassle-free travel to Telangana's famous tribal fair Sammakka-Saralamma jatara at Medaram village, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation will be operating over 4,000 buses from across the state. Mr. Mahender Reddy said the TSRTC would operate one bus every five minutes and plans to engage over 4,000 buses and deploy over 10,000 personnel for the jatara duties. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to visit Medaram on February 2. Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Governors of Telangana and Maharashtra, Union Tribal Welfare Minister Juel Oram and other Central ministers are also expected, said Mr. Srihari.


The TSRTC has finalised the new fares from 53 locations in the state. The buses would start plying from January 30 to February 4. The ticket fare from Hyderabad Jubilee Bus station to Medaram is Rs 360 per head. For children the fare is Rs 160.

Special Buses to Medaram Jatara 2018


  • Ticket fare from Hanamkonda, Warangal to Medaram: Rs 160 per head, Rs 90 for children.
  • Super Luxury bus ticket fare from Hyderabad to Medaram Rs 470. And from Hanamkonda, the price is Rs 210.
  • Ticket fare for Rajadhani and Vajra services: Rs 630 is charged per head from Hyderabad to Medaram while from Hanamkonda, the price is just Rs 290.
  • Meanwhile, the TSRTC is expected to earn about Rs 40 crore from the exclusive services to Medaram jatara.
  • The RTC will also operate buses from Sironcha in Maharashtra. All arrangements have been completed for the jatara at Medaram in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district. The fair will be held on January 31.
  • Devotees will lay their offerings on February 2 and the deities will re-enter the forest on February 3.

Khammam to Medaram Buses:

From January 28 to February 4, the Khammam region depots would provide 400 additional services for devotees, he said. If the heavy rush witness during the festive time the Corporation would increase services, RM said.

He explained that the bus services details of the Khammam Regional, the Khammam depot-20, Yelldandhu- 90, Kothagudem -1,000, Palvoncha- 30, Tekula pally - 10, Bhadrachalam - 40, Charla -10, Venkatapuram - 20, Wazeedu-10, Yeturnagaram - 20, Mangapet -10 Manuguru - 40 and additional services would be arranged if required, he said.

Health Care: Mr Indrakaran Reddy said 60 medical camps and one 50-bedded hospital will be in put up at the jatara site spread over 100 acres in Medaram and surrounding hamlets.

Warangal city police commissioner G Sudheer Babu said they would ensure free flow of traffic from Pembarthi to Medaram and installed 400 CCTVs which would be monitored from city command control office. “We will deploy 1,400 traffic personnel and many on two-wheeler to reach the spot of trouble,” he said.
